Ooma is an internet telephone service and VOIP adapter. The base unit (Telo) must be purchased for about $200. It is simply a high end Voip adapter that plugs into the internet (router or modem) and then a phone -- no computer is needed.

If you hear your local gamer exclaim, "Thunder Gun," "Ray Gun," "why do I always get stuck with a stupid sniper," "Max Ammo," "Insta-Kill," "not a teddy-bear," or any number of similar phrases, chances are they are in the heat of a COD zombie game.

This $1700 carving machine engraves with pretty good quality for what it is. Note that it is not a laser. It won't do a picture or other precise engraving. However, it will do a nice deep carve (unlike a laser). This part of the machine I liked. Also, the software is pretty full-featured.

Glenn Beck's radio program is the third most listened to program in the US. The show blends humor, fatalism, conservatism, and a slight touch of religion. All things dear to my heart (well maybe not quite so much with the fatalism).
